At Ja. Coffee, we take pride in delivering fresh, high-quality products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please review our Refunds & Returns Policy below.
This policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
Returns Eligibility
Due to the perishable nature of coffee and food products, returns are limited.
Returns or refunds will be considered only under the following circumstances:
- You received an incorrect item
- Your order arrived damaged or defective
- There is a confirmed quality issue with the product
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind
- Products that have been opened or partially consumed
- Items damaged due to incorrect storage after delivery
Notification Period
If there is an issue with your order, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting us via email.
Your request must include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)
Assessment Process
Once your request is received:
- We will review the information provided
- Additional details may be requested
- Approval or rejection will be communicated within 5 business days
Ja. Coffee reserves the right to decline a refund or replacement if the claim does not meet the criteria above.
Refunds
If approved:
- Refunds will be processed via the original payment method
- Processing time may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
Replacements
Where applicable, we may offer:
- A replacement product, or
- Store credit
Replacement items will be dispatched at no additional shipping cost.
Returns Shipping
- Approved returns must be shipped as instructed by Ja. Coffee
- We will cover return shipping costs only if the issue is due to our error
- Unauthorised returns will not be accepted
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa.
